This home had an existing gunite pool circa 1980 that we demolished to start fresh. The result was a transformation in both shape and aesthetic. Here’s what we did:
Created a lap pool that accommodates leisure and includes a tanning ledge and flush spa
Installed a modern wet wall with glass tile, teak wood veneer and perimeter lighting
Replaced an existing vertical wood fence with a contemporary horizontal fence that emphasizes the long lines of the lap pool
Upgraded the pool’s landscape lighting and backyard irrigation
Upgraded the brick privacy wall with at combination of smooth stucco and teak wood
In the courtyard: demolished a concrete slab and upgraded to synthetic wood decking with added lighting and irrigation
Installed a modern horizontal privacy fence with a sliding door to disguise utilities
Lighting on the fence.
